I purchased a Samsung T10, which plays video. I am curious what program out there will work the easiest and best for either of the formats above.

I remember that, and the sequence did not work well for me. I had about 5 programs running, dloading with one, compressing with another, doing some tweaks with the other ones. DVD Fab has the option of ripping from DVD to many different formats, I just don't want to drop 50 bones for it.

Thought there was a more up to date program, guess I was wrong.
