Hello,

I used TMPGEnc Xpress 4.0 to convert Apocalypto Blu-Ray disc into 10Mbps 1920x1080 WMV-HD. It play backs fine, but I realized that I can't understand what they are talking and there is no subtitle :((

Anyone knows how to add subtitle back to WMV? I can use TsMuXer to get *.sup subtitle out, then what to do with those *.sup files? I searched the forum, but there is no step-by-step guide available.

Can anyone help me? I don't mind hard-coding those subtitles into WMV since it should always be turned on.

Thanks!

I am able to generate *.srt, *.sub and *.smi file for the movie now. However, Windows Media Player seems to ignore the *.smi subtitle file (same filename), VobSub/DirectVobSub also can't output subtitle during WMV(HD) playback.

I tried AVISynth and I can't use DirectShowSource to open my *.wmv file (1920x1080@23.976fps). Anyone knows how to burn the subtitle(*.sub/*.srt, etc) into WMV-HD? Thanks!
