Hi all,
I'm using Haali media splitter to play matroskas and such, but I can't get audio+subtitle language priority to work.
My aim is to tell Haali to use Japanese audio and English subtitles first, then if not available, use English audio and no subtitles, and if that's not available, use any other language and English subtitles again.
Whatever I try doesn't seem to work. Even setting something trivial like "jpn, eng" or "eng, jpn" in the "audio and subtitle languages" field in the configuration, doesn't do anything. It's just always selecting the first of each type of stream. Even ONLY setting "jpn" in the "audio language priority" field never selects japanese audio.
I can in fact select the audio language manually, and that does really work. It also clearly says the stream is japanese (it says "A: [Japanese]", so that the one I want selected by default). The player I'm using it with is MCE2005 so manually selecting it is a real hassle, since the remote control can't reach the system tray icons.
What do I do?
Specs:
- Latest Haali splitter (fresh download)
- Windows XP MCE 2005 (that's with SP2)
- Intel GMA3100 or something like that
- Core 2 Duo E6750
- 2GB memory
