Anyone knows how to make subtitles work in a AVI in the new PS3 firmware.

search for sub2divx and see what you come up with...

The sub2 divx dont work with HD files, with me. I'm using AVIAddSub and after a little tweaking in the subtitle position it worked fine.

demux: tsMuxeR (1.7.2+)
convert: SUPread
mux: divXMux(GUI)

with those I successfully mad a divx movie having 4 ac3 streams and 4 subtitle streams (let alone 1 video stream... ;-)

But what was the video stream? h264 or xvid/divx?

We're talking of divXMux here, so --no matter what the video originally WAS-- for the muxing it needs to be divX of course ;-)
