Here's a website I found.

Personally, we built our new home ready to install a projector from the ceiling and paths for the video audio cables, surround sound. I'm not a big fan of 5.1 surround. I would have rather installed a receiver with A & B speakers so I could place two speakers in front and two on the sides.
Also we project the image directly onto the wall - that way we could get a bigger image without having to spend a lot of money on a big screen. We can also enjoy 4:3 films this way (without having a widescreen screen).
The engineer who managed the building of our house suggested using a matte paint for the wall. The article linked above talks of pros and cons of matte or shiny finish paint. I would eventually like to do the thing they did with that Goo paint with a frame and a dark background color outside the frame, but I'm not sure if the wife will let me.

I really think Panasonic PT-AE2000 HD Projector is the best 1080P projector out right now for the money. I did a ton of reasearch before purchasing it. There really is nothing out there that looks better, is brighter, for the money. I got one about a months ago with 120" screen and its amazing. And No, i dont work for panasonic : )
I got mine from projectorpeople.com, they will definitely work with you on the price if you buy a screen or accessories.

I was in Tokyo Japan last week and stopped off at the Sony Store. The sales clerk shuffled me into their private viewing room where they had the Sony VPL-VW200 hooked up to a 140 inch screen.

The picture was unbelievable as they played the James Bond Casino Royal. The part played was a high action scene with little or no pixilation or strafing of video. In addition, the deep blacks the picture provided definitely punched up the contrast ratio.

@harthenry,
I'm sure the picture on the Sony VPL-VW200 was amazing, but keep in mind that project is $15,000 bucks. The Panasonic PT-AE2000 is $2,500 dollars. While it *only* has 16,000:1 contrast ratio (which FYI is still VERY VERY high for an LCD projector) compared to the Sony's 35,000:1, the panasonic is actually twice as bright - 1600 lumens compared to the Sony's 800. That tends to happen with "higher-end" projectors, they substitute lumens for contrast ratio. Now, by no means do i question the picture quality of the Sony, but I'd be willing to be a lot of money that seen side by side playing the same video, the extra $12,500 or so dollars would not seem worth it :P
BTW I own casino royale in blu-ray and not only does the Panasonic look just as bright (albeit in a darkened room) with BETTER contrast than on a friends 52 inch Sony Bravia 1080P tv, there is absolutely no pixelization.
