Hello.
I like (and i know it's just a matter of taste) to have my SVCD split in the chapter's positions. I can't find any way to do it in DVD2SVCD other than to encode one CD at a time (and yes, this night i tried, and succeed, in doing it using 2 users on Win XP). How can i do it? Is there an easier way?
Thank you

find out the timecode of the chapter positions (chaterxtractor), then stop the dvd2svcd process before the bbmpeg step and do the bbmpeg step manually using the found timecode as split position. a bbmpeg howto is in all my dvd2avi based svcd guides

to use doom9's suggestion you will need to use a safe CD file size, also. DVD2SVCD calculates the bitrate necessary to fill in the whole CD. If you use 2 CDs of 800MB, the movie will have 1600MB of file size, and it is realy hard to find a time postition to split such file in 2 files of the same size. Thus, my advice is: if you will try doom9's suggestion with 800MB discs, use "cd size 740MB" at bitrate tab.

lets day it is a 120 minuts fim so i use 3 cds of 80 mins. nexta i set the size per mins of each cd for 40 min. after i activate the internal rip and only rip the chaters i need to make the 40 mins or so. the hit go. of corse it gives more work and takes longer but the resuts are excelent and very easy to do !

how about changing the cd size manually to let's say 1600mb or alittle higher? it let's you manual change the cd size, but does this stick? so if you make them all 1600mb, the output file should be the max of both together normally correct?
