Blu-Ray Audio

Does it exist, or any plans about it? If it did exist, do you think it would fly (seeing that Ipods seem to have made cds extinct)?

I doubt there are any plans to sell audio tracks on blu-rays. There's no incentive --- they'd have to charge a huge amount of dollars to account for the amount of music on the disc, and that'd drive customers away. Or they could simply not fill the discs up, in which case they may as well stick with the CD.

Also, the cost of printing a blu-ray disc itself is pretty massive, at least right now.

As you mentioned, consumers are moving to digital downloads, and it's speculated that after blu-ray, the next war will be fought over digital downloads.
