Hi folk!
How right choose colorspace format when I make analog capture in DV format? PAL DV is 4:2:0 colorspace, but many DV codec (panasonic, canopus and mainconcept) give YUY2 (4:2:2) colorspace. I know only one cedocida DV codec which accept YV12 and can out YV12. Before I ordinary use YUY2 and huffyuv codec.
Please advice.

If you are capturing as DV then you don't have an option. It is what it is - no codec is involved. So you will be capturing PAL DV which, as you state, is 4:2:0.

The choice of colorspace becomes important when you decode the DV. Which colorspace is used depends upon which ones are supported by the decoder and by the software that is using the decoder.

YUY2 is widely supported. Software that can't use YUV-type colorspaces will use RGB.
