Hi, a friend of mine recently bought an 80GB iPOD Video. I was gonna try backing up a movie to fit on that but I wasnt sure which setting is the best one to use for it as there are 6 iPOD preset settings? I would like to choose a good high resolution quality preset and I was thinking that maybe the H.264 would be the best bet?

Thanks in advance to all responses.

If you're just going to watch it on the iPod, any of them are good since the iPod screen is so small. The higher resolutions are for when you want to output to a larger screen (using the iPod as a player).

H.264 gets you a better picture at a lower bitrate -- but you will pay for it in a longer encoding time.
