I want to make some tutorials, and I need to record my desktop. I also need to record moving video played using WMP as well as mouse movements. I don't need audio-will put that in later, I just need good quality video recording capabilities. Any suggestions on the software I can use?

I tried camstudio (sourceforge) http://sourceforge.net/projects/camstudio/
but the video which is generated comes out hazy. Also my desktop background comes out hazy in the recorded video. I need to remove all video acceleration in order to capture the video. Not a problem there when I am viewing it as it looks nice, but after encoding it with the software, it comes out bad/pixelated.Any suggestions? Or maybe I need to tweak some settings to get best detail?
Thank you

Try Wink.

You may may have to reduce acceleration but you don't have to completely disable it - just enough to turn off the hardware overlay.

I used it successfully to create tutorials of a video-related application that has video windows and other things. It worked well at 15fps.

Is this the link to the software mentioned?

I have tried it. Its good, but painfully slow after I finish capturing. Also I want to save it as a movie file, not a flash file. Does not have the option to save as a movie file.
