I'm trying to watch some liveman episodes I got. They're .mkv files with ASS subtitles embedded. Media Player Classic plays it fine, Haali Media Splitter plays it in WMP fine. Gabest's Matroska splitter and VSFilter does not play the subtitles at all. the video and audio is fine, it just won't render any subtitles on the screen. I tried it with external .ASS subtitles and they play fine too.
