What are all the options it uses?
ie. The DD options?
Just wondering what you cant do in dvd2avi that you need azid for?

Thanks,

The audio is processed seperately because CCE is just aweful at handling audio.
Ever since I started encoding DVD's it has always been better to handle the audio with a seperate encoder that is designed for handling audio and put all of it's effort into this.
Believe it or not you actually get better sync this way.

I am not sure I am answering your intended question here, but SVCD does not and cannot use Dolby Digital audio it must be converted to Dolby Stereo or Pro Logic.

Well, what does dvd2avi do the audio when it creates the initial wav.

What are the options it uses, ie does it normalize, and decode DD or what?

I want to know, so I can do it manually!

Thanks

The wave is not made by DVD2AVI.
Read the DVD2SVCD log file. It shows the steps taken, but may not show what you want.
The audio is done with internal routines and the processing is done with azid.

I am not sure, but have you read the Q + A and the newbie guides. They have allot info that might help.
