Here is my observation:
I use DVD2SVCD to encode a movie and insert DVD chapters. The chapters in the resulting file are properly timed, I compared them against the scene selection of the original.
I took the same movie, used DVD2AVI and an AVS script to convert (CCE), I get perfect audio sync. I then proceed to insert chapters using VCDEASY and pasting via CHAPTEREXTRACTOR. The chapters start off about a second too early and then get progressively worse.
Any ideas?
