I have tried running this program on my eMac via VirtualPC7 but keep running into the problem that VPC wont support files of a size larger than 4gb (I beleive this is due to limitations of FAT32 even though the virtual drive is formatted as NTFS...). I have used the program successfully on a MAME arcade cabinet i also have but i dont want the hassle of moving files around etc, but at least i know i am bright enough to use MKV2VOB so its not me that is the problem!

I am getting a shiny new iMac with an Intel processor at the end of the week so will have access to VMWare Fusion and Parallels which didnt run on the PPC Emac - I seem to recall a post where someone said they were able to run MKV2VOB via Parallels but cant find it now. If anyone is successfully using this set-up can they please let me know how easy it is to get everything to work (file-size problems etc), and anything else they think i might need to know!

Thanks

What you need to do is enable file sharing between your mac and your Parallels environment. I share my Mac home folder to the Parallels environment.

In Windows, my Mac home folder will appear as the Z drive. You can just use this directory and not have to worry about the 4gb limit.

Does that make any sense?
