I know it's possible somehow to convert it to DTS .wav file wich AC3 filter passes trough bit-perfect as DTS 5.1 1536 to amplifier. But would it be possible to convert it to 5.1 WMA Lossless, or would that passtrough even work with WMA files?

You don't need to convert the dts to dts .wav to pass it through spdif.
I don't know about wma.

Yeah but it's an audio DVD and to make it easier to listen to it you need to rip it as DTS wav.
