I have thrown in the towel trying to figure this out, and I guess I really need additional help, or explanation. If I mis-speak, please forgive my ignorance.

I have successfully backed up many of my blu-ray movies to stream to my PS3. I am looking for help/understanding for those movies with VC-1 video. Below are the steps which I have tried, with partial success.

Steps
1. Import the .m2ts to tsRemux
2. Export the .m2ts video elementary stream and rename to *.vc1
3. Export the .m2ts audio elementary stream and rename to *.ac3
4. Import the *.vc1 into vc12avi
5. Export the video to *.avi
6. Import the video *.avi into virtualdubmod. Add the *.ac3 audio stream and export as muxed *.avi
7. Import the muxed *.avi into solveig ASF muxer and export as *.wmv

The problem here is that the file will not play with audio when streamed to the PS3. The video looks perfect, and this for me is a huge step in the right direction, but there is no audio. When I play them on the computer, video and audio seems fine. Is there a better way to do this, or is it something that I am doing incorrectly?

PS3 doesnt support Multichannel with vc1, will work if u downmix audio to 2 channel and mux back to wmv.

Or if the stream is blu-ray compatible it will work if u burn as avchd, blu-ray dvd structure.U can use tsremux for that...

So the WMV container will allow the VC-1 video to work properly, but it will not support multi-chanel audio?

If that is the case it is rather discouraging.

But will it be 360 compatible?
