Need Help with OTA mpg2 captures...

My Mpg2 capture is 1280x720p, but 59 frames per second.. And when I mux it to 23.95 frames its like watching video in slow motion and audio is out of sync. When I use roxio dvdit hd pro, the transcode leaves and awful pixelation video. Anyone have any suggestions?

Use SelectEven() in your Avisynth script to reduce the frame rate to 29.97 before encoding.

Im not sure I know exactly what you're saying. I should just use TSmux to standard NTSC 29.97 frames per second and that will still be in compliance with Blu Ray standard?

I'm saying that if your stream has 59.94fps and you want to mux it at 29.97fps, then you need to throw away half the frames. One way to do that is with SelectEven() in an Avisynth script. Reducing to 29.97 will reduce the data by half as well and thus require less bits for your MPEG encoding, thus improving quality.
