Ave,
Does Sonic Scenarist 4.2 SCA support HD-DVD Authoring? Or is this the version that stopped HD-DVD Authoring support?
Which version of Sonic Scenarist are you guys using for HD-DVD Authoring?
I have some MKV's (h.264) & WMV-HD's (VC-1) that I'd like to author as HD-DVD without having them re-encoded to MPEG-2 or something. I believe this is possible in Scenarist.
Thanks.

On Sonics web page they have a HD-dvd version out there. you will have to fine a reseller that has it in stock though to buy it.

Scenarist SCA = Standard Content Authoring for HD-DVD
This ressembles standard DVD authoring (with DVD style menus) for HD-DVD.
Scenarist ACA = Advanced Content Authoring for HD-DVD
This is the full HD-DVD specs with picture in picture, HDi, etc.
Scenarist BDA = Blu-Ray HDMV and BDJ (full spec all in one)
With the doom of HD-DVD not far, Scenarist decided to only continue to develop future versions of Scenarist BDA. The SCA and ACA editions will not get new versions but are still supported.

Do all 3 of them support HD-DVD Authoring? (Including Scenarist BDA)?
And also, the SCA - I know you meantioned that it ressembles standard DVD Menu Styles, and lacks advanced content like PIP, HDi, etc - but does it produce a full HD Quality (1080p) HD-DVD? Or is it like Standard (480p) DVD?
