How about a little area where people can post there suggessful DVDtoSVCD converts"Backups" & the settings that they used
& "if test on stand-alone players" what ones did they test on.

Not only would this help others in their converting"Backups" but would also give people an idea of what different players are capable of doing.

BUT
I do only see one downside to this,,
It takes the fun out of figuring it out yourself."thats the best part"
But I'd love to post my suggessful results

I don't see any downside of this
Knowing how other people got good results would be very useful
There should even be a forum only for this
Later there might be a database storing these results so that our favorite encoding app wouldn't need any configuration

What about this idea
I'd love to only have to type ripdvd, wait, and have a perfect backup
