I encoded some content using the Sony 10-bit YUV Codec in 32-bit color mode. The encoding was done with Sony Vegas 8.0. Windows Media Player can not play the video. Just does audio. Is there a specific codec out there that can play this encoding?
Thanks.

If that's the case, how do I make the OS aware of it? Guessing that's not th case, as Sony has a tendency to have their codecs be limited to their applications for some reason. Guessing this is considered a "Professional Editing" codec from what I have been reading so is meant for the middle stage video editing and not final production. Who knows. Of course the challege is if you want to use CCE to create an MPEG2 file instead of Sony Vegas, nothing can read it outside of the application.
