Hey Guys:

I have had plenty of experience with backing up Dvd5 and Dvd9's. I used TMPGEnc 2.5, TMPGEnc Dvd Author, VirtualDub and VDMod, DgPulldown ect....

I am now trying to learn how to do the same on blu-ray disks. I woulld like to learn the method that will give me the highest quality burn. I have been looking around your sight here and I am not sure what I should be reading. (The search engine is not very helpful.)

The file I am looking to convert is an .mkv file. It's about 6.5gb in length. I saw a thread called:

Quick Blu-ray content (BD, BD-5 and BD-9) authoring guide (PS3+PowerDVD

I am not sure that's for me because I don't have a PS3. I want to be able to stick the disk in my blu-ray player and watch it.

If someone could point me to a thread that covers this with mkv support, I would be very greatful and well on my way to learning this process.

Thanks,

jwmghf
