I cannot get DVDFab HD Decrypter to recognize my Blu Ray drive with Disney Cars. Why would it not recognize it?

DVDFab HD Decrypter has not been updated in a while in regards to Bluray and HD. Try AnyDVD HD.

Yes, SlySoft's AnyDVD HD is well worth the $79 as they are always the first to release new versions that support the keys on new discs.

They changed their pricing to Euros, so now is 79 Euros.

I've got AnyDVD HD and have burned the disc to my hard drive so I can get screen caps. However I cannot access the bonus car finder game once I burned it to my HD so I can't get screen caps of that which is what I really want.

Look for a hidden button on the main menu. It may only be visible for a bit. From memory, this is how the regular DVD's Easter Egg worked. Search for forum for "Cars"

Hi!I cannot access the bonus car finder game once I burned it to my HD so I can't get screen caps of that which is what I really want. Can't you accomplish this by playing your original, commercial disc on your PC?

Is there anybody else experiencing a Deadlock with latest DVDFab Decrypter update?
With version 4.1.0.0 and 4.1.0.2, the application will stall as soon as I enter a disc into the drive or open VIDEO_TS folder from HDD.
The "Opening Disc" dialog with progress bar, which usually pops up, will not appear at all!

Previous v4.0.8.0 Beta-Release works 100% fine...

Yeah you had to let the menu play right the way through and it appears momentarily the second time around from what I recall.

Sometimes, they are completely invisible and you need to find them by chance. It's the fun of the game. Of course, you can also rip them and load them with something like PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html) or DVD Remake Pro (http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/index.php) but that takes all the fun out of it.

AnyDVD have the problem of AI scanner itself about buttons for EasterEgg like "Cars" (though about normal DVD).
It seems to avoid the problem by not working AI scanner about "Cars" when setting is "auto". When setting is "enable", it misrecognize the button for EasterEgg and has the problem.
But I can't understand how it forced not to work AIscanner, so I'm afraid that it have the problem when DVD has similar button.

DVDFab has no problem of AI scanner itself about buttons for EasterEgg like "Cars" (though about normal DVD).

jinjin_jp: Have you tried the latest BETA? I think (while it is not noted exactly) they have extended the number of BOVs the AI Scanner scans.

I confirmed. 6.3.1.6beta has same pronlem.
I've confirmed before that problem is different between RipGuard DVD and no-RipGuard DVD.
The differece of both DVD is only bad sectors in VTS_10.
But the result is difference about Easter Egg in VTS_18.
--RipGuard DVD =>whole VTS_18 is removed.
--no-RipGuard DVD =>the cell of VTS_18 is blanked.
So I suppose the reason of the problem is not interval of scanning.

And I think something written in change log when fixed, because I accepted the answer in AnyDVD Forum that this promlem is low priority.

From memory, the Cars EE had nothing to do with BOVs. It was an extra button in the 2nd or 3rd button set in the main menu.

Scanners need to scan, and be aware of, all button sets.

I have the same memory about BOVs. I tested it about DVDFab before fixed.

1st set is 51 BOVs, 2nd is 11 BOVs, 3rd is 5 BOVs, and only 2nd set has the button which jumps to Easter Egg.

About AnyDVD, I also accepted the answer in AnyDVD Forum that "it recognize multiple set of buttons".
