is there away of doing a 2pass rip but setting a 80% quality

i'm about to setup a 1.5tb raid 5, and am wanting to start putting all the dvds i've done in the last few years into xvid now and put them all on hdd... gonna thin out all the discs laying around the house

cause theres so many it would be nice to just use auto GK cause it's so quick to que up a whole heap and just let it go, but i'd like to keep the resolution at max and have say a 70-80% quality setting. but still do 2 passes... easy enough manualy setting in GK after doing the comp test then just up the bitrate accordingly.. but slower to setup a big que of rips..

so is there away i can do this in agk?

If you set a quality, it will do "that" quality for each and every frame in 1-pass, regardless of how many bits it took for each frame. So there is nothing to do in the second pass if your are doing constant quality.

So no, autogk does not have a mode to do this (because it is not needed).

The only time you should use two-pass is if you are trying to hit a specific filesize.
