Subtitle position

Is there a way to position the subtitle below the picture in 16:9
movies in Media Player with the DVobSub plugin?

If the feature doesn't exist it would be a nice one to add in
future. It feels like a waste to encode the lower black border
just to get the subtitles below the picture ...

Use the option Extend to 4:3 this will add black borders on top and bottom of your video and put the subtitles below the picture
