In vdub you can convert your video to x264 in AVI container but you can not do it in MeGUI ....... Why???

Because x264 doesn't belong in AVI, and doing so requires ugly hacks that are guaranteed to break on a number of players.

More exactly, if you don't use B-frames, its perfectly fine--but that's eliminating most of the benefit of x264 anyways.

Why MP4 doesn't support AC3 audios ???Because the people who made the standard, the Motion Picture Experts Group (MPEG), decided not to.

Please, use proper forum when you ask question! There are a nOOb section on doom9 where you can ask nOOb question, but it is expected from member to find answer by then self on basic question like this. Take your time to read on those sticky and use search on this forum. We have all been nOOb once, but we surely didn't ignore forum rules.
