Wich one is better? LC or HE?

HE = LC + SBR (Spectral Band Replication)

The SBR is a way to save bitrate with high frequencies, then HE is better for low bitrates and LC is better for high bitrates. When use VariableBitRate you must let the encoder select the method automatically.

Q=0.2/LC or Q=0.8/HE are examples of wrong selections.

With ConstantBitRate and stereo source you can select HE for less than 96 Kb/s and LC for more than 96 Kb/s (of course this limit can vary with audio source and personal tastes)
