MPC HC - Two sets of subtitles - How to choose?

In Media Player Classic HC, when watching video fullscreen with subtitles, I see two sets - one set overlays the video, and the other set shows up under the video, in the bottom black bar.

I discovered that I get both sets if I choose the IDX file, and only the overlay set if I choose the SUB file.


But how do I only get the set in the bottom black bar to show up?

aren't you using both the internal subs renderer and direct vobsub at the same time?
