I'm a newbie to BluRay ripping.. but i'm trying to understand what i've read on here so far..

Let me know if this is accurate:

BluRay discs have a folder structure that starts with BDMV and inside there is a stream folder with m2ts files in it?

AnyDVD can rip this in 1 to 1 format, putting the original on a harddrive, which i can possibly play using my PowerDVD v7.3 Ultra version, by selecting the copied BDMV folder or the stream folder?

Also.. what is involved in getting this copy.. back to a BluRay disc.. is it just using Nero 8 to burn the copied harddrive back to a BluRay disc?

Finally.. if i wanted to stream this through Media center to my xbox 360, does anyone know if it magically supports the original folder structure (m2ts files) or will this need to be converted to another format (losing the dolby digital?) like DVDs have to be done? (I'm leaning towards getting the new SageTVHD box, which supposedly supports BluRay rips with passthrough of the TrueHD as well via the HDMI).

Thanks in advance

I didn't try the blu-ray to BD-R copy but it is my understanding that all you need to do is copy back th ripped structure to a BD-R yes. Although if your disc is a 50GB, the BD-R 50GB will cost you lots of money.

As for the streaming, Arcsoft Total media Theatre is a new PC software player that supports HD-DVD and Blu-Ray and media center Extension integration of HD-DVD and Blu-Ray. THis is probably what you would want. Didn't try it out yet myself but there is a trial on www.arcsoft.com.
