I've got a MPEG2 source that I have indexed with DGindex and demuxed the tracks. The filename of the demuxed audio track indicates a delay of -815ms.
I've used the AVSCutter utility of MeGUI to insert cuts into the AVS and I've saved the cuts file.
I've then encoded the audio in MeGUI specifying the cuts file. I have tried specifying the delay when encoding the audio and when muxing (only one at a time). In both cases the delay seems to have no effect whatsoever. When I open the muxed file in MPC it is out of sync still, I can manually set the 815ms delay in MPC and it is then in sync.
I have noticed that if I specify the delay while encoding the audio the resulting audio file doesnt seem to have a silent section at the start like I assume it should.
Is there something I am doing wrong? It is starting to frustrate the hell out of me.
