You need to get an ACM MP2 codec. Section 1.1.1 from http://avisynth.org/mediawiki/Importing_media contains a link to it.

@Wilbert

Hi!You need to get an ACM MP2 codecBut doesn't the GSpot screen capture inidcate/state that the required MPEG-1 layer 2 audio codec is already installed?

@Frozen-Figo

Hi!

What software and procedures did you use to create the MPEG file?

Was the original source material a DVD or something else?

I think GSpot search DirectShow filters but VirtualDub need ACM decoder.

To use DirectShow filters with VirtualDub you need AviSynth frame server.

Hi!

I believe the Fraunhofer .MP3 codec is an .ACM (VFW) codec - and is readily displayed by GSpot for .AVIs that have audio created with that codec...

Sky Star 2 ( DVB-S ) as a hardware | ProgDVB as a software

I have succeeded to encode audio with YAMP and BeLight == > the final result is MP4 & AAC

but i preferred to use virtualdub

thanx all

Glad to hear you've resolved your problem ;>}

As an aside, how/why did you capture at what I believe may be an unusual resolution - 544x576?

Indeed it's not the solution i look for ( Thanx Mk4ever by the way )

the result is MP4 but the request result is Avi ( Xvid ) for video . :cool:

but thing better than nothing :rolleyes:

I can't control of resolution & i don't capture by the way , i just record the stream as MPEG2 file with the same channel settings ( no way to control resolution )

thanx man
