I recently became acquainted with MPC HC, and after using it for a bit, I absolutely love it. That being said, however, I have a couple of feature requests:

1. Realtime GUI Audio Delay Setting

The /dubdelay switch is fine if you have a seperate audio file, and the sync is off by a constant amount. However, it's extremely cumbersome to use on the fly, especially when the sync offset changes throughout the file. I would love it if there was an easy to access setting within the GUI itself where you could set the audio delay amount, and have it take effect immediately.

2. The missing navigational buttons

I think this program could really use a set of genuine Fast Forward, Rewind, Beginning, and End buttons. I think this is relatively self-explanatory. :)

So, those are the features I would like to request right now. I hope the people developing this build find them worthy enough to include in a near-future build. Thanks for a great program!

You can change audio delay using + and - on the numpad keys

I see that! That's great! (I wish there was a proper Help file...)

But I have two questions then:

1. How can I see what the current delay is after using those keys?

2. How do I reset the sync? Is there any other way other than to re-open the file?

Make sure you have View -> Status checked and it should display at the bottom of the window.
Don't know if there is a fast way to reset it but its usually fast enough to just use the -/+ keys to get it back to zero.

Ah! Between using it in fullscreen mode, and the fact that even in window mode, the status display goes back to reading "Playing" a second after you stop pressing the keys, that's why I missed it.

Thanks! :)
