I've been trying to upmix a stereo audio to 5.1 with BeHappy, but I'm getting this error:
Starting job Sum 41 - Still Waitin' T01 48K 16bit 2ch.wav->Sum 41 - Still Waitin' T01 48K 16bit 2ch.ac3
Error: System.DllNotFoundException: DLL'en 'AvisynthWrapper' kunne ikke indlęses: Det angivne modul blev ikke fundet. (Undtagelse fra HRESULT: 0x8007007E)

I hope you understand the Danish language. If that's not the case I'll give you a translation.

Do you have AvisynthWrapper.dll at same folder than BeHappy and AviSynth 2.57 installed?

Yes to both.
I've put the plugins in the plugins folder and downloaded aften.exe (aften-svn-r723-icl10_1-win32-bin) and placed it in the BeHappy encoder folder.
Am I missing something?

Also soxfilter.dll in AviSynth plugins folder?

No, but that didn't do it.
Could it be something with AvisynthWrapper.dll since it's mentioned in the error that it'snot being found?

No, but that didn't do it.
My english is very bad and don't understand this phrase.
For a 2ch.wav -> 5_1.ac3 conversion with BeHappy, you only need:
- .NET 2.0
- AviSynth 2.57
- Soxfilter.dll at AviSynth plugin folder
- BeHappy.exe, AvisynthWrapper.dll, UpMix.extension and Aften.exe at same folder.
All the Upmix.extension options use 'soxfilter()', like is a external AviSynth filter need the .dll

Do you know where I can get the UpMix.extension?

You can't select the DSP Upmix function in BeHappy if this file don't exist in BeHappy folder (or ../extensions subfolder).
BTW you can found UpMix.extension here (http://files.filefront.com/BeHappy+200710167z/;9377564;/fileinfo.html)

Tebasuna, I have been very successful in converting stereo files to 5.1 AC3 using Foobar2000 with the VI plug-in, per your recommendations in the "... FREE" post on this forum.
Would you recommend I try BeHappy or should I just stick with foobar?
Thanks. John

I'm not a expert in 2 -> 5.1 conversion.
Everybody can do different methods and chose.
My opinion:
- I never do 2 -> 5.1 conversions. I preserve the original stereo ones. I have a receiver that can do the upmix at play time with different settings. Is enough for me.
- The VI vst plugin is much more sophisticated than delays and frequency filters like can do with AviSynth, then can be better but is always related with the particular audio track. Try and compare.

I have been playing around with AVIDemux and editor and transcoder among other ting that also have its own tread on this forum among other popular editor like VDM.
In AVIdemux there is a filter where you can manipulate sound up mix or down mix. I recently did an AC-3 (afterdawn) encoding with dynamic range, auto gain -3 dB and DolbyProLogic II from an mpeg 1 layer II (mp2) at 384 bps stereo. All this into a MKV container.
That stream went into my hardware decoder bypassing ALC882D codec from MB. It didn't give me rear speaker, although front speaker, sub and centre speaker was clear. I had better success with pure stereo on Dolby digital Live (even analogue 5.1 are up mixed as long it is stereo signal, any more channel and it will change to what is feed out on 5.1).
The end of this story is that it might be faster or even better to use LC AAC stereo as source instead as at least for Dolby ProLogicII and let hardware decoder do the job to split (up mix) sound as that will be done for all type of sound that are matrix mixed for DPL2.
Ziggi: You might want to try to get help from HydrogenAudio (http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?act=idx).
I don't use BeSweet, so I can not help you there. If you can not find a solution, then you might try to make a total clean up and start all over with your BeSweet install and AVIsynth install, especially everything related to AVISynth as your first post indicate that you lack something or one of your DLL are corrupt/out of date.
