Right, so I just bought a TV tuner card (the Hauppauge PVR-150) and there are no problems whatsoever... except VMC's interface is too user friendly... so much that there is no option for changing the (video) resolution.
Thing is it stretches video to 1280x1024 which makes it look horrible. I would much rather have it add black borders, or if possible, even pass it through Avisynth to improve video quality.
