I've read through most of the stereo-to x-format guides and I came across a few methods I'm trying to implement.

I'm currently playing with ambiophonics, and I have been using the x-vovler plugin and impluses available at www.ambiophonics.org.

I was also interested in trying out specise's 1.5 ambiophonics VST plugin, but I'm unable to locate it at any of the older links provided. Is there a new host somewhere or am I too late?

My second question is about ambiosonics and Vector Based Amplitude Panning (VBAP). I'm not sure if any one here has played around with it, but since there are a ton of guides related to ambiosonics I thought I would ask.

Reading through one of the threads I found this link:

http://www.dmalham.freeserve.co.uk/alpha/vst_ambisonics_alphas.html

I'm only trying to implement a 2 channel front playback, but with active speakers located in different locations (non-symetrical speaker placement). My thoughts are to use a 2 channel source input to BFPANFHH (encode it) and send that to BFDECFHH (decode it) and out to the speakers. Does this seem like a valid idea?

My other thoughts are to use multiple instances of Panorama (http://www.gerzonic.net/?prod=5&rub=2)

The host I'm using is Audiomulch or Console.
