Analog Capture Guide with DV

The Analog Capture Guide talks a lot about interlace issues and Virtualdub. I am capturing my data from a VCR thru a Canopus ADVC110 DV device so does that guide and working thru the analog pitfalls apply in my case? I do not think Virtualdub can deal with DB input and do not think with DV I will have the scan line issues they discuss. Can you confirm?

Your interlaced VHS material will become interlaced DV so the same issues will apply.
