View Full Version : Poor tech support from Nero? Encoding bug

Hi, I have an encoding problem with Nero 8 (Recode 3) I purchased recently. Nero haven’t replied to my support question I raised by email, and an unhelpful person on the expensive helpline just told me to wait. Can anyone please help as it is driving me mad and I can’t use the software for the intention it was used for – not a happy Nero customer!


Problem:
I'm using the latest version of Nero Recode 3 to encode movies using H264@2Mb/s and AAC audio at 48KHz, 224Kb/s. The audio is*garbled (MP4box reports that*it is encoded at 70kb/s not 224kb/s).**If I keep the same settings but just encode a few chapters, the audio is perfect. If I change to 24KHz everything is ok (but I want to encode at 48kHz for quality and compatibility). I assume this is a bug – has anyone else noticed it and is there a fix available?
