Hello,
I am trying to play back a Blu-Ray back up (Live free or die hard) using Media Player Classic.

Playback is very juttery
only get about 4-7 fps
CPU usage stays below 15%
Quad Core 6600
Nvidia 8800GT
XP Pro

HD, TS, MKV, VC1, mpeg2 all work fine on my machine

Using
Cyberlink H264/VC Decoder
Haali Media Splitter AR
MPC
Windows Media Player 11 installed

file starts fine, but simply only reaches frame-rate about 4-7fps, plays in slow motion
sound is o.k.

filters loaded are:
Cyberlink H264/VC Decoder
Haali Media Splitter AR
Haali's Video Renderer (tried all other such as VMR9 renderless
etc.)
Spdifer

playing back on a Plasma screen via PC in

Any ideas?

woah!

Yep, that's true. BD+ titles can only be played with PowerDVD atm.

But even in PowerDVD 7.3.1 it plays incorrectly.

I get blocks upon start up, picture is smooth, but blocks every where

Which version is 7.3.1? It's the first time i heard of it. Is it PowerDVD ultra?

7.3 3319 Ultra, the last one that should play back up via hard drives, I think

Yep, that's right. But you shouldn't have any problems.

In power DVD I get the open tray message, and when I play only single file I get the blocks. Could my 8800GT, hardware acceleration have anything to do with it?

Maybe it's a hardware acc. problem. Try the latest driver or even disabling it.

I use the open movie on hdd and i load the whole movie to powerdvd.

latest Nvidia driver is already installed, how do you turn off hardware acce.?

somehow PowerDVD does not let me load whole movie, "disk tray is open"

There should be an option in Powerdvd's configuration (video tab).

I really don't understand why you get this message about the tray. Maybe uninstalling & re-installing the program solves the problem.
