i am trying to create a menu using photoshop cs3 and scenarist designer. creating menu by using layers is not a problem also exporting to designer no problems but when i klik on export images in designer i get the following error message "saving palette failed"
i have read the manual and using rgb 8 bit etc also i think when photoshop is not configured right designer would not import

Hi B4tm4n, can u help me in buffer value in bd menus

I gave up on authoring BD discs (with Menus) awhile back, and please ignore the reply to your PM because I probably won't be able to help you.
Sorry.

Hmmm never had this problem. Did you try and reinstall the import and export scripts & plugins? Or Photoshop?
(with a full cleanout of the registry too, so nothing will fall back on old values for photoshop.)
At least then photoshop will be in its default state.

Only failed errors I usually get is if my slices were off by 1 pixel.

Here is the way my workflow is, (probably similar to yours).
- Save 3 png's nor, sel and act. and put in a folder
- script > import folders to layers
- slice it all up
- save for web, designer html file
- turn the slices to layers with the other script.
- export as scenarist designer file.

when you export in Designer, try to change your master dither settings to no dither and see if that works for you.

Check if the file SonicXalanPlugin.dll is located in the root directory of your photoshop folder (the version you're using).

I had the same issue, I had photoshop CS2 when installing scenarist, swapped to CS2, moved the plugin file and got the palette error. Copied the above mentioned file to the CS3 folder and it worked :)

Hope this helps.
