View Full Version : No Subtitle tracks listed in AutoGK, but they are in the VOB

Post title says it all really.
I've got a VOB with 4 subtitle streams - they appear fine when I play the VOB in VLC Media Player.

When I use AutoGK to convert the VOB to AVI, none of the subtitle streams gets listed - see screenshot.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

Are you choosing the IFO or the VOB?
The subs should be listed when you choose the IFO.

Cool, thanks. That fixed it.

Funny that I've been using AutoGK for well over a year now, and have always just selected the VOB files, not IFO files. It's never caused me any problems till now.

Generally, when decrypting DVDs, I split the VOB files by chapter - I find it more useful to have multiple VOBs, and subsequently multiple AVIs, for watching movies on a portable media player - makes it easier to skip forward/backward through the movie when resuming play.

This technique however still only generates one IFO file (relating to the first VOB), so I guess when I have problems like this in the future, I'll have to decrypt the chapters individually into separate directories, so that an IFO file gets generated for each VOB.

Glad to hear you got it.

Which still might leave some problems. I'm batch-ripping one episode per dir with DVD Decrypter but still I'm getting ALL 4 eps of a DVD listed when opening any of those ifos in AutoGK.
