"where you got aspi.zip... It should be forceaspi17.rar. rar and zip are different ones, and there are plenty of informations about rar files and its advantages in the net."

Hello Mr Mozart, I tried to reply but I'm assuming you closed it. I wanted to report this to Doom9 or a mod such as your self as there might be a legit reason as to why there has been so many reports of this lately.

The file I am referring to is "aspi.zip" and not "forceaspi.rar". as I am aware of the differences between zip's and rar's :)

Here is the link:

When you go to open this using Win XP default zip program it comes up with the message "This file is corrupt or invalid"

Before I ever go off posting I always do my home work and I found out it opens just fine with Winzip.

I think perhaps some people may be taking the jump to Win XP and trying to open such files, as this may be one of the reasons for all the posts lately.

It seemed to be an issue with doom9 and I was simply trying to offer my help instead of asking for it.

I hope to earn you trust and respect as you and all the other mods fully have mine for helping so many others. I hope this post doesn't hit you the wrong way as I am only trying to contribute.

Hello Mr Mozart, I tried to reply but I'm assuming you closed it.

this is weird! I didn't realise it. Probably an unintentional error while swapping posts... I'm usually strictly trying to follow each one forum rule as they are, and surely you didn't make any fault...

Anyway, that post is open again.

ok, it seems that that aspi.zip has problems, but it is in forum server, instead of doom9's download server. I will change your subject to get dvd2svcd atention;)
