is it possible to make mpc open a file like realplayer?

I currently use realalternative.
I use filezilla to download rmvb files from a ftp. If I use realplayer, when the file is being downloaded I can play it with realplayer; if I use MPC, it failed.

Just curious if MPC can work like realplayer in opening files, not a must to solve this.

You need to install a Real-supporting DirectShow codec. Try Real Alternative. Not sure if it can stream like that though.
