Could someone please enlighten me as to the details of obtaining the Sonic decoder as used in eac3to? As I understand it now one needs to purchase Scenarist for the decoder which eac3to needs and Scenarist could be considered pricey at best. Since I don't have the decoder and I know that it's pay ware I have not even thought of purchasing it until now. I have simply left all DTS tracks alone and just used the AC3 track which is (usually) in the movie along side the DTS track.

Scenarist comes with this decoder. I'm not sure but I think Cinevision also contains this decoder (someone correct me please, if I'm wrong). There is this standalone Sonic decoder pack, which you can buy on Sonic's homepage, but I'm not sure if the needed DTS-HD decoder is part of that.
The best solution would be for someone who (unlike me) is a native English speaker to call Sonic support and ask for the best way to get access to this decoder for those people who don't have the expensive Scenarist license.

Just got off the phone with a score of different people at Sonic and it would appear that the only way to access this decoder is through Scenarist. Oddly enough no one there seems to be able to say for certain. I am waiting for a reply from Sonic R&D as to whether or not such a product will be available in the near future.

Does anybody know the files / registry keys needed by eac3to?
I purchased CinePlayer back at version 4.0, and the license still works with 4.2.2 in the link above .... the only problem is the install fails on Win7 x64 with "file not found" errors where it asks me where to install file from (so I was hoping to install it on an old XP, provide the license key and transfer appropriate files / reg keys for eac3to to work with it!)
I am guessing it's the demuxer + audiodecoder, just don't know what eac3to needs / checks ;)
