View Full Version : removing multi angles and correcting chapters

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone have a quite simple procedure to copy a multi-angles DVD using Ifoedit. I can choose the only angle I want while ripping using Smartripper and then do a REMPEG on it, but afterwards what should be done to correct the chapters and make it playable, can it be done by IFOEDIT?

I find quite a lot of DVDs region 1 have multiangles which for me is almost imposibble to copy when you need to do a remux and stuffs.

Indeed.

But as I said, I will get Shrek this week, and check that angle stuff out.
So hopefully at weekend, there will be a new guide on my site to copy DVD's containing angles.

Hi Derrow,

You see I'm just about to copy SHREK too and found out that it has multiangles all over it. Well, you're the man! so I guess you should check this out and surprise us. :D

Mine is region 1 with 2 DVDs. The first DVD is the fullscreen version and the 2nd is the widescreen version, I was ripping the 2nd DVD which was really full of angles!

Now I've got Shrek, and checked it.

The region 2 version, has only 2 angles, and only at the beginning 2 cells.

So there would be no need to strip one angle away. It's better to rip all VOB files with smartripper.

Now I'm going to enhance IfoEdit, to correct angle start sectors too, then we can copy Angle-Movies too.
