I am looking to convert my 25MBps HDV home movies to VC-1 that is HD-DVD compatible. Is this possible with Windows Media Encoder 9? I am aware there is currently no way to author HD-DVD with these VC-1 files; I just want to encode them now and I'll author when an app is eventually released.
Thanks for the help

If I understand it correctly, only the just released Pro encoder is capable of producing HD DVD compliant streams.

And I don't think it can be used in WME.

Correct, WME doesn't support it.
