Does anyone know what the below error message means? It seems to be happening all the time now. I am using the latest version of DVD Rebuilder. Is there a problem with DVD Rebuilder or is the problem with the ripped files I am putting in to DVD Rebuilder? I am using DVD Fab Platinum. Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is driving me mad.

Hi!

I'd suggest trying a different ripping program...

It is very definitely a problem with the rip. That message is telling you that the IFO file is referencing that cell -- but it doesn't exist in the VOB files... that's illegal by the standard. You'll probably want to report that to DVDFab.

@adyf

By any chance, is your DVD "3:10 to Yuma"?

Don't know about DVDFab, but all I had to do for that one with AnyDVD was change the name in DVD-RB to remove the "<" and ">" (which is illegal for the file path).

@adyf - you are using an old version of Fab which had this problem (4012 Beta I believe).

@jdobbsall I had to do for that one with AnyDVD was change the name in DVD-RB to remove the "<" and ">" Yes, I'm aware of that.

What I was getting at is that, historically, DVDFab(HD)Decrypter has been known to handle this particualr type of protection (and others, in the past) in a less-than-totally-DVD-compliant manner...

Gents, thanks for the replies.

Firstly the DVD is High School Musical 2 and I was using the latest version of DVD Fab (4.0.5.0)

I did notice a strange thing though when I first inserted the DVD. I always hover my mouse over the VIDEO_TS folder just to see if I will need to compress the files, however windows says that the folder is empty..........strange!!

AnyDVD wouldn't touch it when I tried to rip to hard drive, came up with an immediate error (can't remember what it said exactly). DVD Fab seemed to do the job and then I get the 'Source Is Corrupt' error at 66% through the rebuild phase in DVD Rebuilder.

As I suggested before, for this Disney release, try using a different ripping program, such as "RipIt4me".

You might also want to hold down the "Shift" key while loading the DVD (prevents autorun files from executing)
