Re-encoding x264 movies as some rips i've had done out of sync

Basically guys I have some x264 movies that a friend ripped for me from some originals I have.
Most are fine, but some are out of sync.

If i wanted to re-encode these films from the x264 files what would I need to do to re-sync them.
What programs / what process would I need to follow to re-sync the sound and video?

Any help much appreciated.
