I got this Witchblade DVD Anime Vol.1 from Amazon , i tried converting it to AVI so i could play in on my portalable player
But somethings wrong with the DVD , everytime i play the VOB files directly , both Video and Audio skips and repeats making it unplayable , but i plays fine if i play them from the DVD Menu
So the problem with converting is that the converted files are also same as the source , it's skipping at repeating , since most converts use the Vob files directly
I though it was copy protection so i tried using DVD Decrypter , but it's still the same , also tried diffrent DVD / Mpeg 2 Codecs to play those VOBs

Hi!
Try using a newer ripping program, such as:
DVD95Copy Pro
AnyDVD
RipIt4Me
DVDFabHDDecrypter

Well tried them and only Ripit4me worked , but it was able to fix one of the episodes , the DVD contains 4 episodes
seems that each episode have some sort of autoplay menu embendded at the start of each episodes , causing the problems
hmm maybe i can post the first few secs of the episode using a vob cutter or something

In your initial post, you failed to mention that you're dealing with an episodic DVD.
Use RipIt4Me (or any of the others, despite your comment) set to "FULL DISC COPY"...

I could be wrong on this but I suspect this might be the issue:
When playing VOB's in DVD mode, your player uses it's own internal filter chain that is built in. When playing in file mode, your player is "looking" for what your system has set up to play the files and relies on a filter chain that is determined by direct show (windows?). Some filters are not compatible with certain players and vis/versa.
Try installing nVidia pure video decoders and see if your mpeg2 files paly back better (playing VOB's directly). If not, try to convert to AVI.

Rip the full DVD in Full Disk mode using DVDFab HD Decrypter.
Open the folder with ImgBurn and in Build Mode create an .ISO file.
Mount that .ISO with a virtual drive and rip that with DVD Decrypter in IFO mode, which will list the individual episodes.
