Error using autoGK

I am trying to convert a dvd to avi to play on my xbox360. After a while, autogk comes up with an error message about a "field order transition".. (the error message then suggests doing something.. but I don't understand it).

How do I fix this?

If it matters, I'm trying to do the Madagascar dvd. I ripped it to my hard drive using dvd decryptor and I am using autogk 2.45.

Hi!

"Madagascar", a Dreamworks release, was the first DVD to have "RipGuard" copy protection. This first iteration of "RipGuard" was subtle in that it allowed DVD Decrypter v.3.5.4 to rip it without generating any error messages, while it silently made the rip problematic.

In order to "clean up" your rip, load the rip into VOBBlanker, set a new output directory/folder, select "Process all" and then press the "Process" radiobutton...

After I run it through the vobblanker, I still get the same message when I use autogk.

I decided to let the encode proceed this time, however. In the end, the audio ends up out of sync with the video.

Further explanation:
Not sure if this is because of the copy protection, or because I needed to use a different process. Normally I use the ifo mode of dvd decryptor (as I only want the main movie) - but vobblanker doesn't support that (it's looking specifically for a video_ts file, which doesn't get copied when I do ifo mode). So I used the file mode.

Then comes an additional complication, after running vobblanker, as I'm left with a bunch of .ifo's (which one to choose? autogk doesn't work if I select video_ts.ifo..) when running autogk. I think I found the right one.. and it does look like the entire movie was in the output.

So I'm not sure if the final problem (out of sync audio) is because of the ripguard copy protection, or because I had to change my process to accomodate using vobblanker (ie. did I miss something?). :confused:
