View Full Version : Mkv-vob Program Now Making Resulting Vob Files Smaller Than The Mkv??

Ive started using the MKV-VOB program with decent results. I understand the mkv file that converts to the vob to play on the PS3 should stay the same size??? Well after Ive installed another set of 'tools' for this program the resulting VOB file now is a lot smaller than the original MKV...I thought they should stay the same? Example I had a 4.55gb version of JAWS on MKV, and the resulting VOB file is only 3gb....Have I done something wrong here?

well if the original audio was using DTS then the endresult would be smaller because it converts DTS to AC3 which is smaller.
