is there a way to port my capture card input to a player like
zoomplayer?

the fullscreen mode on virtualdub doesnt display various aspect correctly and isnt really good for just watching.

Don't know about ZoomPlayer since I don't use it, but it's a pretty advanced player so I would have thought so.

MPC can, just choose File>Open Device.

I used to VLC for this purpose, since it is very lightweight doing this and has more options. Then I saved the settings as a playlist.

You should also have gotten some software with the card.

Dscaler works nicely.
VLC was a bit rough for me.
